The Challenge

Keep seller storefronts responsive while scaling a high-traffic commerce platform and moving long-running AI generation work away from interactive requests.

Engineering Approach

The backend combined MySQL query refactoring, database optimization, Redis caching, and an event-driven RabbitMQ pipeline. Docker standardized service environments while asynchronous workers isolated AI landing-page generation from customer sessions.

What I Worked On

• Built and scaled backend capabilities with TypeScript, Node.js, and Express
• Refactored MySQL queries and introduced Redis caching for critical storefront paths
• Designed an event-driven AI landing-page pipeline with RabbitMQ
• Implemented fingerprint-based fraud-risk detection from behavioral and transaction metadata
• Containerized backend services with Docker
