The Challenge

Modernize a legacy operational CRM, reduce slow database-backed workflows, and make ongoing feature delivery safer for internal teams.

Engineering Approach

The application evolved toward a React, Express, Node.js, TypeScript, and MySQL architecture. Query and schema optimization improved responsiveness while SOLID principles, design patterns, TDD, and CI/CD reduced delivery risk.

What I Worked On

  • • Built finance, invoicing, reporting, authentication, authorization, and two-factor authentication modules
  • • Optimized MySQL queries and schemas across core CRM workflows
  • • Migrated legacy modules toward SOLID principles and maintainable design patterns
  • • Introduced test-driven development and automated regression tests
  • • Implemented standardized CI/CD deployment pipelines
